Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to support our general/electrical contracting operations. This role is critical in ensuring that tools, materials, and equipment arrive on time to job sites so our field teams can keep projects moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles (pickup trucks, vans, or box trucks) to deliver materials, tools, and equipment
• Pick up orders from vendors, supply houses, warehouses, and job sites
• Load and unload materials—including electrical supplies, conduit, fixtures, hardware, and general construction materials
• Verify accuracy of orders, delivery tickets, and packing slips
• Maintain delivery logs and communicate status updates to office and site supervisors
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Assist with warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, restocking, and staging orders
• Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety requirements
• Interact professionally with vendors, clients, and field crews

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and handle construction materials
• Experience with pickup trucks, vans, or small box trucks
• Strong time-management and communication skills
• Ability to use smartphones/tablets for delivery apps or dispatch instructions
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, especially in construction or electrical trades
• Knowledge of common electrical materials (wire, breakers, fittings, conduit, etc.)
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain

Work Environment

• Frequent driving between job sites, supplier locations, and warehouse
• Fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Indoor/outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Anticipated Start Date: February 2026 or earlier

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 per hour
