NYU Langone Health's Long Island Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced critical care intensivist to join our group of intensivists and advanced care providers to provide 24/7 coverage in our 10-bedded cardiothoracic ICU. The successful candidate will possess outstanding clinical skills and a strong interest in education and must qualify for a faculty appointment at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine.

Responsibilities
- Managing patients after cardiothoracic surgery with a team of PA's and NP's
- Provide 24/7 coverage in the cardiothoracic ICU
- Shifts will be days, nights and weekends
- Demonstrate outstanding clinical skills in critical care
- Engage in educational activities and training programs
- Collaborate with a team of intensivists and advanced care providers
- Participate in research and community service initiatives
Salary Range $340,000 - $450,000
The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors
Qualifications
- Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care
- New York State Medical License
- Strong clinical skills in critical care settings
- Interest in education and training of medical professionals
