Senior Application Developer - Pharma - Remote
Technical Skills

• 3-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices and cloud-native applications using Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA (or other ORM), Spring Security.
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks (Junit, Mockito, JBehave).
• Experience with build and deployment tools (Gradle, Maven, Jenkins) for CI/CD processes.
• Mandatory experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for offshore; for onshore, GCP or any major cloud platform experience is required.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).

Soft Skills

• Ability to design, develop, and implement custom software and database solutions with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and fostering team collaboration.
• Strong team player, supporting colleagues and contributing to collective project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop elegant, high-performance code as part of a collaborative engineering team.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
• Optimize applications for non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, etc.).
• Build and deploy application components using CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage end-to-end application delivery, including coordination for production deployments.
• Monitor application health and key performance indicators; provide support for production issues.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to data, features, services, and platforms; perform root cause analysis.
• Promote and advocate security best practices within the engineering team.
