Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth Rite of Passage Team is hiring for Crisis Stabilization Manager at Safe Passage in South Bend Indiana

Safe Passage is a diagnostic and evaluation facility that works with youth ages 10 to 18. A youth is referred to our program by a DCS case manager or a probation officer to seek a clinical assessment. The youth stay at our locked secure facility for 30 days while our psychologist completes a full diagnostic and assessment of the youth. Safe Passage's psychologist will update diagnosis, treatment plans, and future placement options. Youth will leave Safe Passage in the next 30 days after their assessment is completed going on to one of three places: back home with social services in place, to a foster care or group home, or to a residential facility to work on a youth's recommendations.

Pay: starting at 52,000 per year, Pay level increases based on Licensure's

What you will do: As a Crisis Stabilization Manager at SAFE Passage Indiana, your job responsibility will consist of responding and supporting youth dealing with crisis including but not limited to self-harm, suicidal and aggressive behaviors. The Crisis Stabilization Manager supports and processes through youth's feelings about past trauma and helps the youth to reach stabilization of their behaviors and mindset. You are responsible for evaluating and monitoring youth who have demonstrated suicidal and self-harm ideations/ behaviors. Additionally, as a Crisis Stabilization Manager you will be trained to administer testing for the youth's psychological evaluation. You will also be responsible for facilitating treatment group for youth who have completed their evaluation. The Crisis Stabilization Manager creates safety plans for youth who are returning back into the community. You will also partner with other departments regularly to best assist in support youth within the program.

To be considered you should: Possess a Masters degree in social work related field ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC for pre-employment), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5pm with a one hour break. Some evening and weekends are occasionally required with this position.
