Summary:
A supervisor may be assigned to one or more of the following areas and is expected to perform various combinations of these responsibilities. A valid driver's license is required, including a Class B CDL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise workers with the job knowledge required to operate various equipment, including dump trucks, bucket trucks, large tractors, mowers, weed eaters, and blowers.
- This position requires job knowledge of the experiences in other positions, such as labor, gardening, and machine operation. Must supervise all the staff in his group in terms of productivity, quality, quantity, safety, dependability, and communication.
- Complete assignments within the allotted time and seek guidance when obstacles to performance arise. Start work promptly as scheduled and stay productive until the scheduled ending time. Routinely take on additional assignments.
- Can be counted on to carry out instructions and fulfill the position's responsibilities; reports to work on scheduled days and at scheduled times; uses proper call-in procedures if late or absent; responds to schedule changes in a reliable manner.
- Maintain open lines of communication with your supervisor and manager, and demonstrate practical listening skills by sharing relevant information with other employees.
- Understand the company's loss prevention and safety philosophy; ensure that your work area is maintained safely at all times; use proper lifting procedures to prevent accidents or incidents in the future.
- Other duties to be assigned.
Education and Experience:
Valid driver's license, class B CDL; able to operate the following machinery: dump truck, bucket truck, big tractor, mower machines, weed eaters, blowers, etc. Two years' experience

- Other Skills and Abilities - Read, write, and communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus, but not required. Strong math aptitude is essential.
