What You’ll Be Doing:As a Senior Engineer in Nuclear Assurance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and safety within our nuclear engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Verification & Compliance: Identify and conduct verification activities on behalf of the Owner of Authorisation Conditions 20 and 27, ensuring adherence to compliance arrangements is effectively monitored.
Documentation Management: Author and maintain the Compliance Matrix Workbooks and Compliance Verification Plan, while reporting to the Compliance Dashboard.
Regulatory Support: Facilitate planned internal and external inspections, collaborating closely with NSR&I Advisors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Quality Assurance, Engineering, Test and Commissioning, and other relevant business areas to deliver compliance verification activities.
We’re looking for candidates who bring a wealth of experience and expertise:
Industry Experience: Previous experience in heavily regulated industries, such as Oil and Gas.
Quality Assurance Background: Experience in Quality Assurance, Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering, or Product Assurance.

The PNED Department is a dynamic team of multi-disciplinary professionals dedicated to delivering nuclear engineering capability across various reactor plant programs. While this role focuses on Authorisation Condition compliance, you’ll have opportunities to expand your knowledge in nuclear engineering and project activities throughout the Engineering Lifecycle for a Naval Reactor Plant.
