Lead Budtender

Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Lead Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong retail and customer service skills, with experience in supervising staff and managing daily store operations. As a Lead Budtender, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, provide product education, and ensure the smooth functioning of the dispensary. Your expertise in POS systems, product demos, and upselling will help drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Bilingual abilities and excellent communication skills are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, offering expert advice on strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new or featured products
• Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts
• Manage daily merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness
• Oversee inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure product availability
• Supervise junior staff members, providing training and guidance to uphold store standards
• Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining compliance with regulations
• Enforce store policies regarding age restrictions and responsible sales practices
• Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy

Experience

• Prior experience in dispensary or retail saleis preferred
• Supervising experience in a retail or dispensary setting is required
• Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math is essential
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities (preferred)
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about product demos and merchandising techniques
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while providing excellent customer service
• Experience in stock management, merchandising, and retail operations is advantageous

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
