Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting overall warehouse distribution processes. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and safety protocols, with opportunities for growth into supervisory positions. The Warehouse Associate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Duties

  • Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems such as AS400 and RF scanners to track stock levels and locations.
  • Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely.
  • Perform stock stocking, order picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities to support manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Assist with shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
  • Conduct materials handling tasks involving heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Support warehouse management in maintaining OSHA compliance and safety standards.
  • Utilize mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Support warehouse supervisor with daily operations including inventory management and process improvements.

Experience

  • Prior experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (such as AS400) and RF scanners is highly desirable.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers is required.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, stock control procedures, shipping & receiving protocols, and OSHA safety standards is essential.
  • Mechanical aptitude or prior experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
  • Previous warehouse supervisor or management experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking within large warehouse facilities is necessary. Candidates should be detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving to succeed in this role.

Pay: $ $27.04 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
