Title: Data Analyst, Cardiology - WATCHMAN

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Cardiology business, focusing on our WATCHMAN LAAC franchise. You'll leverage your analytical expertise to drive the success of our Research and Development - Therapy Optimization team which seeks to understand clinical best practices and enable the best outcomes for our patients. In conjunction with a team of engineers serving as procedural experts, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting procedural data to understand the device usage and clinical workflow trends of our physicians. You'll partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, and IT, to ensure that all programs are supported with robust measurement strategies that align with overarching business goals.
Key Responsibilities: • Create dashboards and other summaries to track the utilization of newly launched medical device products using data collected from procedures. • Develop and execute comprehensive measurement strategies to identify hospital centers in need of additional training and support. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and recommendations effectively, acting as a subject matter expert in procedural analytics • Proactively monitor key performance metrics and generate detailed daily, monthly, and quarterly reports to assess the efforts, while providing actionable recommendations. • Combine multiple data sources (including Salesforce and others) to develop reporting, dashboards, and analysis. • Partner with IT and external agencies to ensure accurate tagging and tracking of all procedural data, ensuring robust measurement and data integrity. • Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and maintain adherence to privacy-first principles in all analytics practices.
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical role within Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Alternatively, 10 or more years of experience in an analytical role may be considered in lieu of a degree. • Experience synthesizing data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across varying levels of technical expertise. • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying data, combining and transformation data for reporting and analysis. • Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel, Snowflake, Google BigQuery or equivalent platforms. • Experience with web analytics, and marketing pixel implementation strategies. • Knowledge of digital business operations and understanding of key KPIs such as loyalty, retention, and digital campaign performance metrics. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with minimal supervision, while maintaining attention to detail and process adherence.
Preferred Qualifications: • Proficiency in Python and/or R • Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry. • Experience working with healthcare-specific data (e.g., real-world evidence, medical DICOM metadata, procedural). OT: Eligible for 1.40 OT Mark-Up: Yes
