Summary of Position
We are looking for a super smart, friendly, person who is passionate about solving problems and learning new things. You would be joining the IT Network + Security Team as an IT Network Engineer and engaging in an escalation path that will be responsible for ensuring that our internal IT staff feels supported and well-equipped to do ministry using technical tools, overseeing the optimization, alignment and structure of all our support efforts.
Your role will involve collaborating with your immediate team, project manager, external teams and vendors to resolve technical issues, complete tasks and meet project deadlines.
An IT Network Engineer is a professional with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing IT systems and infrastructure. Responsibilities may include system design and implementation, network management, server administration, security measures, troubleshooting and support, collaboration with other IT professionals, and staying informed about industry trends.
Principle Responsibilities Manage server hardware and software, including operating systems. Create and maintain technical documentation for staff. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, SaaS vendors, and third-party providers to ensure successful operations. Responsible for monitoring, optimizing and maintaining the organization's software and hardware stack. Report success back to leadership frequently, measuring things that are critical to our success. Flexibility to learn, test thoroughly and implement new technologies for the needs of the organization. Work within a best-in-breed project management system and maintain up to date timelines on all projects and tasks. Take initiative and solve problems, by collaborating effectively across the IT Teams. On occasion, this role may need to work weekends, nights, or holidays for on-call rotation. On occasion this role will require traveling to various campuses and locations Required Skills and Job Complexity

Gateway Staff (all locations) Part-time staff and high-capacity volunteers. Maintain vendor relationships d) Physical Capabilities
Able to pick up and carry large items such as monitors and desktop computers, cameras, servers and ACP. Competencies Critical to this Position

5+ Years of Infrastructure Management SaaS Management expertise preferred such as Okta, Workday, Active Directory and more Large-scale Data storage experience preferred such as Isilon Experience with MacOS X and Windows products Advanced level understanding of Networking Knowledge of Slack, Zoom, Monday, Cisco, VMWare Key Performance Measurements
Timely completion of assigned tasks and projects. Ability to give and receive feedback to the Information Technology Team as well as end users. Contribution to knowledge base articles. Ability to quickly understand new technologies.
