We are seeking a skilled and proactive Junior Data Engineer to join our team and work with one of our clients, a global leader that develops and distributes brands across more than 150 countries and territories, with products available in thousands of retail distributors worldwide. As a Data Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise and problem-solving mindset to optimize cloud infrastructure and systems. Your responsibilities will include system enhancements, ETL processes, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, contributing to the efficiency and innovation that support the clients global success./ppJob Activities/pulliMaintain and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability for data systems./liliExtract, transform, and load (ETL) data across various systems to support business operations and decision-making./liliIdentify and resolve issues within existing systems to enhance performance, stability, and scalability./liliTroubleshoot and fix bugs in deployed systems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption./liliOptimize systems and streamline existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce latency./liliBuild and optimize system deployment structures to ensure smooth, consistent deployments and system performance./li/ulpRequirements/pulliExperience with SQL for data manipulation, querying, and analysis./liliExperience with Python skills for automation, scripting, and system integration./liliDeep familiarity with cloud infrastructure and hands-on experience in maintaining and optimizing cloud environments./liliUnderstanding of algorithms and programming concepts, with the ability to solve complex problems./liliIn-depth knowledge of Git and its best practices for version control and collaboration./liliA proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions before problems arise./liliAnalytical mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and system optimizations./liliExceptional attention to detail in technical and operational tasks, ensuring high-quality results./liliExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams./liliAdvanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for clear communication with global teams and stakeholders./li/ulpDesirable/pulliExperience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms for building scalable and resilient systems./liliKnowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and managing cloud-native applications./liliFamiliarity with Databricks or similar big data tools for data processing and management./li/ul/div
