As a Data Analytics Team Leader, you will oversee a team of data analysts, develop intricate reports, and analyze corporate and client-specific data. You will act as a technical advisor to company staff on data analysis and benchmarking issues and liaise with clients as needed. Your responsibility will also include providing training and data analytics education for program staff while offering technical guidance to our analysts located in various offices. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: Preferred experience in project management. Managing a team of data analysts, including assigning projects and overseeing workflow. Developing comprehensive and accurate information reports, including OSHA reporting for specific clients. Creating complex data reports and conducting analyses for forecasting and benchmarking to inform senior management decisions. Communicating data findings directly to senior management to address forecasting and client needs. Gathering, analyzing, and providing feedback on company or client-specific information needs. Conducting complex data analyses to support program objectives and senior management requirements. Being a resource for colleagues on data analysis and benchmarking. Providing technical guidance to client-dedicated analysts across multiple locations. Delivering training and educational support in data analysis for team members. QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis from an accredited institution is preferred. Courses in Computer Science are also advantageous. Eight (8) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. This must include four (4) years in the insurance industry and four (4) years in statistical analysis. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. Skills & Knowledge: Project Management. Understanding of risk management information systems, including their utilization and functionality. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation capabilities. Proficiency in PC applications, particularly Microsoft Office products. Strong analytical and interpretive skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills. Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment. A proven ability to meet or exceed performance competencies. A credit check is required.
