If so, you belong with us! Salesforce AI Research is seeking an exceptional Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for applying and delivering innovative AI solutions to critical business challenges. Collaborate with researchers, applied scientists, and engineers to bring cutting-edge AI applications and products to life. Your Impact: Collaborate with a dedicated team to tackle diverse business challenges with applied research. Lead initiatives to elevate our innovations to new levels of engineering maturity and architectural excellence. Develop and refine AI-powered products, workflows, tools, and automation. Create tools for monitoring data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and managing models. Establish best practices for coding standards, workflows, tools, and automation. Enhance existing tools and codebases, while building new solutions for modern challenges. Scale team operations through automation and library development. Required Skills: At least 2 years of industry experience with a strong passion for crafting, analyzing, and deploying AI-driven solutions. Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, DeepSpeed, vLLM, or similar). Proven track record of successfully shipping code and deploying AI/ML in production environments. Experience with AI model training and serving. Skills in designing, building, and optimizing AI model and data pipelines. Strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning fundamentals and their project life cycles. Ability to write high-quality, well-documented, and tested scalable code. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, researchers, and product managers. A proactive and independent self-starter attitude. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a research environment. M.S. in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related area. The standard base salary range for this position is $148,500 - $223,900 annually, with specific cities, like those in the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas, having a range of $178,900 - $246,000 annually. This reflects base salary only and does not include bonuses, stock options, or additional benefits.
