Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled
ThoughtSpot Developer
to design, develop, and support modern analytics solutions using
ThoughtSpot
. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and BI teams to deliver intuitive, high-performance search-driven analytics and interactive dashboards. This role requires strong experience in data modeling, SQL, and integration with cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

ThoughtSpot Development

• Design, develop, and maintain
  ThoughtSpot worksheets, answers, Liveboards, and pinboards
  .
• Implement
  search-driven analytics
  and AI-powered insights using ThoughtSpot.
• Optimize ThoughtSpot models for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Develop reusable KPIs, metrics, and calculated measures.

Data Modeling & Integration

• Build and maintain
  logical data models
  aligned with business requirements.
• Integrate ThoughtSpot with cloud/on-prem data sources (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
• Design and manage joins, hierarchies, and relationships in ThoughtSpot.
• Work with ETL/ELT teams to ensure data accuracy, freshness, and quality.

Business Collaboration

• Partner with business users, analysts, and product teams to gather analytics requirements.
• Translate business questions into optimized ThoughtSpot solutions.
• Conduct user enablement sessions and create documentation for self-service analytics.

Performance & Governance

• Monitor and tune query performance and data freshness.
• Implement data security, row-level security (RLS), and governance standards.
• Ensure compliance with data access and privacy policies.

Enhancements & Support

• Support production issues and troubleshoot data or performance problems.
• Enhance existing dashboards and analytics based on evolving business needs.
• Participate in platform upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in
  BI / Analytics development
  .
• 2+ years of
  hands-on ThoughtSpot development
  experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and dimensional data models.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, Databricks).
• Experience creating dashboards, KPIs, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization
