Job Classification and Hours: Salaried / Exempt Employee
Location: This is an in-office position located in Bozeman, MT.
Essential Job Functions:
As Marketing Coordinator, you will lead our marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, support business development, and drive business growth in the competitive construction industry. Reporting to the executive team, you'll develop and implement strategies that showcase our projects, expertise, and values. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a passion for construction and proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven multi-faceted business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee branding, advertising, website oversite, social media, SEO/SEM, and targeted RFQ/RFP/Custom proposal creation to reach architects, developers, and potential clients.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and client needs to refine messaging and continually improve our competitiveness.
- Collaborate with project managers, business development, and leadership to align marketing with business goals, such as highlighting completed works.
- Manage project information databases, photography, graphics, and other assets used in marketing.
- Photography of job site activities (progress and workers) and staff headshots.
- Lead and execute the production of all marketing materials.
- Manage corporate meetings and events, make meeting arrangements, and ensure technology is functioning with the IT team.
- Manage branded company gifts and swag – ordering, distributing, and inventory management.

- All team members may be asked to perform duties and functions outside of their normal responsibilities to assist the company from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field – or a combination of relative experience and education.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in construction, engineering, architecture, or related industries.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Basic graphic design skills required, advanced graphic design preferred. Please provide samples of your graphic design work with your resume.
- Photography capture and editing skills for people and static subjects are preferred but not required. Please provide samples of your photography work with your resume. Outline the type of subjects you can deliver professional images of and if you are confident using strobes. A full complement of professional company-owned equipment (Sony, Profoto) are available for use. Can you use these brands or prefer to use your own gear?
- Solid experience in content creation for technical audiences. ( RFQ/RFP Responses)
- Creative thinker with analytical abilities.
- Must be an effective communicator and able to stay focused under pressure.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends when required to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must integrate into Martel's culture and practice its Core Values in all interactions.
- Ability to interface with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Trade Partners and colleagues in a professional manner.
- The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working Conditions:
Work in the office as well as occasional visits to construction sites, during all stages, in all types of weather conditions.
Compensation:
This is a full-time position.
Salary is competitive depending on experience plus the following:

401(k): A 401(k) is available for participation after 90 days.
Shareholder Option: Key employees are invited to participate in the company stock program. Further details will be provided upon request.
Pay: $90, $105,000.00 per year
