Join Our Team as an Area Sales Manager!

Location: Livingston / Central Scotland

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About Carrier Rental Systems: As part of the global Carrier Corporation, we operate 24/7, 365 days a year, delivering market-leading rental products to a diverse range of clients and industries. This role is within our dynamic Pumps & Power division.

Your Mission

Are you a proactive professional ready to drive growth in our Power & Pump division across Central Scotland ? In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Your goal? To increase sales, rentals, and profits by targeting both existing and new market verticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, manage, and deliver the Sales plan for your territory.
  • Introduce the Carrier range of products and services to the market, identifying strategic opportunities to grow market share.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide industry-leading standards to our customer base.
  • Build strong, value-adding relationships with existing customers.
  • Prospect for new customers and explore opportunities with existing clients.
  • Engage in continuous personal development on product and application knowledge.
  • Contribute to and utilize Carrier Rental System data systems, especially our CRM.
  • Provide insightful reports on customer inquiries, hires, and sales in your designated area.
  • Assist in the collection of payments due for services provided in your area.
What You Bring
  • Outside sales experience within Plant Hire or Construction (experience selling pump solutions is a plus).
  • Familiarity with electrical power supply equipment like generators, solar, or battery storage solutions.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated attitude and a passion to win.
  • A valid UK driving license.
