divh2Data And Analytics Technical Lead/h2pThis position is 100% remote, however, you must reside within driving distance of our offices in Independence, OH, to attend meetings and team collaboration./ppThe Data Tech Lead is a member of the Insurance Data Engineering Team. They will play a critical role on the team, developing data solutions to solve business and technical problems./ppWhat Youll Do/pulliLeading the development delivery of technical solutions/liliArchitecting and coding solutions using big data tools and techniques/liliUnderstanding complex business problems to ensure projects are leveraging the appropriate technology and analytical tools in the delivery of a comprehensive solution/liliUnderstand the business goals/needs while utilizing big data and cloud technology to ingest, process, and analyze large amounts of data/liliUnderstand how to transform findings into actionable business opportunities/liliUnderstand the changing business needs of the organization/projects and recommend viable strategies for the future./liliAuthor and/or review architecture/design and other technical documents, ensuring high-quality deliverables and systems development across tech stacks and applications teams/li/ulpWhat Youll Need/pulli5+ years of working experience in a technical lead or an architect role/liliUnderstanding of Cloud technology (preferably AWS- EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, GLUE) and Big Data platforms (Hadoop- Sqoop, Hue, Impala, Hive, Hbase)/lili3-5 years of Experience developing solutions on Hadoop and NoSQL databases/liliExperience with data modeling and business logic./liliAbility to think outside the box and understand the big picture thought process/liliAbility to communicate clearly to business owners/liliHighly proficient in SQL - Data architecting experience a plus.
