Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service operations, and a passion for hospitality management. This role involves overseeing daily restaurant functions, ensuring high standards of customer service, managing staff, and maintaining efficient operations across all departments. The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the restaurant's success in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain a motivated and efficient team.
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage costs to optimize profitability.
  • Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to oversee food production, quality control, and presentation standards.
  • Implement and monitor food safety procedures in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members.
  • Manage shift operations to ensure smooth service during peak hours while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and overall management of restaurant resources.
  • Lead staff training initiatives focused on food handling, safety protocols, culinary techniques, and customer service excellence.
  • Support catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed to expand the restaurant's offerings.

Skills

  • Proven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and food safety standards.
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, training staff, and developing talent through effective coaching.
  • Ability to manage inventory control efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
  • Experience in shift management, budgeting, and food industry operations including catering or banquet services is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills for interviewing candidates and collaborating across departments.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and kitchen management. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a vibrant restaurant team while delivering memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
