Role Purpose
The Manager will have oversight and accountability for our
delivery portfolio, including project staffing, team member training and development, progress monitoring, issue escalation, and professional services revenue targets. You will work with Inovus team members to resolve issues during inflight projects (including scope, budget, or technical); you will be responsible for allocating team members to future projects and tracking team capacity. You will oversee the team project calendar across all
projects, ultimately accountable for successful delivery of professional services and rollout of client solutions.
The Manager will be responsible to oversee all aspects of Delivery within the Inovus
practice. The Manager will work closely with multiple parties to coordinate successful outcomes:
- With Inovus Consultants and Project Managers, to ensure a consistent, successful delivery experience for our clients
- With our clients, to address issues when escalated to you
- With Inovus Sales team members, providing technical expertise to close new deals.
- With
Sales and Customer Success, to maintain Inovus's reputation as a trusted implementation partner.
You are accountable for managing an effective team dedicated to fulfilling the organization's mission through highly successful program implementation, team engagement, and continuous improvement. You contribute significantly to a culture of transparency and dedication throughout the organization, by your example and daily interactions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Spend about 70% of your time on delivery and implementation / 30% on sales and marketing
- Ensure the high-quality, on-time delivery of high volumes of projects of varying length and complexity
- Develop Inovus' team of
Consultants and Project Managers to cultivate and maintain a high level of both consultative and technical skills - Scope and estimate new projects; write up Statements of Work; propose staffing.
- Monitor project budgets and manage invoicing, with Project Managers
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand within our current portfolio of
clients - Lead initiatives to bring to market new solutions/ products on top of the
platform - Resolve issues that are escalated to you in a timely manner; remove blockers
- Attend
functions to represent Inovus (e.g. conferences and webinars) - Initiate and maintain connections with
Customer Success, Channel Partner, Product, and other team members - Stay current on
platform capabilities, including certifications - Regularly review internal delivery processes and recommend improvements
The Ideal Candidate Brings Most of These Qualifications
- Ten (10) or more years professional experience
- Five (5) or more years managing software teams and projects in an Agile environment (scrum, scrum-ban, kanban, etc.)
- Five (5) or more years of experience as a SaaS implementation partner, navigating the triangle of platform provider, client, and consultant
- Experience bringing a solution to market, on top of a SaaS platform
- Previous client facing roles with responsibility for scope and budget
- Experience forming lasting relationships of trust with team members and clients
- Interest and aptitude to coach and nurture team members
- Strong service mentality focused on client satisfaction
- Highly effective communicator with exceptional organizational skills
Compensation & Terms
- Chicagoland area. Attendance is expected one day per week at our Loop office. We are not able to offer relocation assistance.
- Salary: The base salary range for this position is $125,000- $145,000. This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however, may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.
- Full time W2 employee. Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. We are not able to offer sponsorship at this time.
