Embedded Linux Developer

We're looking for an experienced
Embedded Linux Developer
who enjoys working close to the hardware and wants to build reliable, production-grade systems deployed at global scale.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain
  embedded Linux software
  for TEKTELIC's KONA gateway family
• Work across
  user space and kernel space
  , including drivers and system services
• Build and customize firmware using
  Yocto / OpenEmbedded
• Use cross-compilation toolchains to support multiple embedded platforms
• Debug complex system-level issues and improve performance and reliability
• Collaborate closely with hardware, RF, and cloud engineering teams

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of embedded systems development experience
• 3+ years working with
  embedded Linux
• Strong
  C programming
  skills
• Solid understanding of Linux internals (kernel, drivers, networking, boot process)
• Experience with
  Yocto, OpenEmbedded
  , or similar embedded build systems

Preferred /Nice to Have:

• Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Familiarity with
  LoRaWAN
  , LPWAN, or IoT technologies
• Experience with
  4G (LTE) / 5G
  and integrating cellular modems in Linux systems
