Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
• Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining station cleanliness
• Help with food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
• Serve food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
• Follow all food safety regulations and proper sanitation protocols
• Support the team during busy meal times to ensure timely service
• Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and practices
• Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently and accurately
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques and food industry standards
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
• Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience with food safety protocols is a plus
