Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Handle all customer sales inquiries via telephone and email with a friendly and professional approach.

  • Order Processing: Efficiently process sales orders received through email.

  • Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders for non-stocked or made-to-order products.

  • Collaboration: Liaise with the Sales Office Manager and suppliers to manage component purchase orders.

  • Returns Management: Raise return requests and coordinate collections.

  • Goods Receipt: Book in the receipt of incoming goods from Head Office and local suppliers.

  • Delivery Coordination: Send delivery notes and details of upcoming deliveries to key accounts.

  • Reporting: Produce and send reports to customers regarding open orders using our ERP systems.

  • Filing: Maintain organized customer and purchase order filing systems.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Previous experience in a sales administration or customer service role is essential.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with both external and internal customers.

  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
