Become a vital part of our logistics team as an Order Picker in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient retrieval of products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You will work diligently to locate items, ensure correct quantities are picked, and prepare them for the next stage of the fulfillment process. Precision is paramount, as any errors can impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will utilize various tools, including advanced RF scanning technology, to navigate the warehouse and manage inventory effectively. A comprehensive understanding of our product catalog and warehouse layout will be key to your success. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to strictly adhere to safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This dynamic position requires physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced setting. Collaboration with other team members is essential to ensure a seamless workflow within our logistics operations. Responsibilities include: Accurately picking specified items from warehouse locations using RF scanners; Verifying picked items against order details; Maintaining accurate inventory counts through precise picking procedures; Preparing picked items for packing and shipping; Ensuring the work area is clean and organized; Following all safety protocols and utilizing appropriate PPE; Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed to support logistics functions. This role involves significant physical activity, including extensive walking and frequent lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Utilize RF scanners for efficient picking and inventory management.
- Verify picked items for accuracy and quality.
- Stage picked items for the packing department.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of logistics and order fulfillment.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning equipment.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and PPE compliance.
- Ability to work at a quick, consistent pace.
