We are hiring enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our busy logistics facility in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position is essential for ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in excellent condition, contributing directly to our company's success and growth in the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product identification and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Stage packed orders in designated areas for carrier pickup.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace in line with warehouse safety and logistics standards.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Be prepared for tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting of products.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse/logistics role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order details and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods, and perform regular Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to work effectively in a team and follow safety protocols, including wearing PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
