We are looking for dedicated Material Handlers to join our bustling logistics facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and storage of goods throughout our distribution center. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that materials are safely transported, organized, and ready for the next stage in the logistics process. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to maintain inventory accuracy and operational flow.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials from receiving to storage areas, and from storage to shipping docks.
- Pick and stage orders accurately according to pick lists or system instructions.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform routine checks on material handling equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with packing and preparing shipments for dispatch.
- Be comfortable with tasks involving heavy Lifting and repetitive motions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment, with certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
