Your duties will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to load, unload, transport, and store materials. A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity is essential. You will work closely with the inventory and shipping teams to maintain organized stock levels and facilitate timely order fulfillment. This position requires individuals who are reliable, physically capable, and possess excellent operational skills. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory, maintaining organized storage.
- Assist with order picking and preparing shipments as needed.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse/logistics role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with safety best practices and the use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
