We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our growing logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods, and assist with inventory management. A strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to safely move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any defects or maintenance needs.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to a clean and organized warehouse layout, ensuring unobstructed pathways.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- Proficiency with different types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up).
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
- Knowledge of logistics and material handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
