Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio? Join our busy logistics team and play a vital role in the movement of goods within our warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, maintaining a safe work environment, and supporting overall warehouse operations. We are looking for experienced, safety-conscious individuals who can operate equipment with precision and adhere to all operational guidelines. This is an excellent chance to contribute to a key aspect of our logistics network.Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport materials to and from designated locations within the warehouse.
- Stack and arrange goods in designated storage areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure operational readiness.
- Follow all Safety regulations and company policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory.
- Adhere to all Lifting requirements and operational procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Valid forklift operator certification or license. Proven experience as a Forklift Operator. Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and material handling procedures. Knowledge of Safety best practices for forklift operation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Experience with various types of forklifts is a plus. Familiarity with logistics environments.
