Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Detroit, Michigan, and be an integral part of our fast-paced logistics operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the efficient and safe handling of goods within our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will work closely with a team to manage inventory, process shipments, and contribute to the overall smooth functioning of our warehouse. We value teamwork, reliability, and a proactive approach to completing daily tasks. - Receive, unload, and store incoming goods accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent counting and reporting of discrepancies.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of clutter.
- Assist with Loading and unloading trucks.
- Follow all Lifting guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Understanding of basic Safety principles. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
