This role is fundamental to our efficient fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. You will be responsible for accurately locating, retrieving, and preparing items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses good stamina, and is committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety. Your daily tasks will involve navigating the warehouse, utilizing picking equipment, and ensuring that picked items are staged correctly for packing and shipment. This position requires the ability to read order forms and labels accurately and to work efficiently under pressure. We provide all necessary PPE to ensure a safe working environment, and regular lifting is involved. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Use of RF scanners and other picking equipment.
- Stage picked items for packing and verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Good physical stamina and ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Basic math skills.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
