What You’ll Be Doing

As an Engineering Manager in our Instrumentation Development Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of BAE Submarines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Charge: Oversee the workflow, financial health, and operational performance of our Instrumentation Development Services.
  • Building Relationships: Manage business relationships with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring the successful delivery of services across the organization.
  • Project Management: Deliver instrumentation projects that meet customer and contractual obligations for cost, quality, and timeliness.
  • Innovative Solutions: Oversee the delivery of work packages involving new products and complex upgrades, utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
  • Policy Development: Establish necessary policies and ensure alignment with organizational strategies.
  • Program Management: Manage engineering programs or projects that encompass major systems, disciplines, and products.
Your Skills and Experience

We’re looking for candidates who are:

  • Degree Qualified: Hold a degree in a STEM field.
  • Knowledgeable: Have a broad understanding of instrumentation system design, development, and project life cycles.
  • Experienced Leaders: Proven experience in managing and leading large multi-discipline teams.
  • Familiar with Radiation Systems: Prior experience or knowledge of radiation measurement systems is a plus.
