Lead teams with data-driven guidance. Focus on hypothesis development and employ a range of analytical methods, frameworks, and technical approaches to test them effectively. Communication and Influence:
More than merely presenting data, you will craft data-driven narratives. Influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels using clear insights and actionable recommendations, establishing your credibility as a trusted strategic partner. Responsibilities: Analyze large and complex data sets to solve diverse and challenging problems using various analytical techniques. Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining skills to create strategies for our products impacting billions of users and millions of businesses. Define, evaluate, and measure success metrics for product initiatives through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key indicators to grasp trends. Identify, evaluate, and test opportunities to enhance products, steering roadmaps through your insights and recommendations. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, and support product strategy and investment choices. Minimum Qualifications: Currently holds or is nearing completion of a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or possesses equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta. Proficient in data querying (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical software (e.g., R). Authorization to work in the designated employment country required at hire and maintained throughout employment. Currently pursuing or has completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or has equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with distributed computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.). Experience handling large data sets. Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing high-volume, high-dimensional data from various sources. Public Compensation: $119,000/year to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Industry:
