Essential Functions
Note:

Maintain network/connectivity/cloud and associated solutions to include providing day-to-day operation support, monitoring, maintenance, updates, triage, and troubleshooting for Enterprise Networking environment.
Provide expertise and collaboration on defining enterprise-wide technical design standards for network related technology solutions and propose solutions to leadership.
Create/Maintain/Update enterprise network diagrams and documentation
Research, design, review, test, and implement network related technologies and solutions. Engage in solutions research and deployment, systems standards, internet services, capacity planning, Disaster Recovery, platform upgrades/modernization, and process improvement.
Contribute to design of network related solutions and partner with Information Security and Compliance in review of all solutions against corporate security and compliance standards and requirements.
Design, implement, maintain, and support Network Operational monitoring/alerting platform(s) including Business driven dashboards, metrics, and KPI reporting to facilitate clear communication of network related performance across the enterprise
Design and manage IP address space, external-facing infrastructure, and ensure network fault tolerance, redundancy, and disaster recovery.
Lead cross-functional teams to plan and implement enterprise network initiatives and projects.
Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and stakeholders to define requirements, assess impact, and execute network solutions.
Oversee logistical planning, communication, and execution for all network-related initiatives.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training on network technologies and strategy.
Partner with company leadership to develop medium- and long-term network strategies aligned with business goals.
Maintain deep expertise in emerging technologies, evaluating and integrating new solutions as appropriate.
Oversee test plans, performance metrics, and overall network architecture and strategy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education, Licensure or Certification:
• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field - or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of network operating systems primarily Cisco, Certification preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CCDE, CCIE)
Work Experience or Related Experience
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting infrastructure/network architectures
• Experience with maintaining detailed network diagrams and technical documentation
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network related issues
• Ability to productively work under minimal supervision
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Must be a team player, possess high energy level, and be a self-starter
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, VoiP, BGP, EIGRP, communications and routing protocols (SD-WAN experience desired)
• Cisco Networking Hardware: Routers, Switches, Firewalls, (Catalyst, 6509-E, Nexus, Meraki, etc.)
• Experience with network analysis and operational monitoring/alerting tools (wireshark, Solarwinds, etc.)
Travel Requirements and Conditions

Minimal travel may be required.

Work is generally performed in an office environment or remote setting in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions.

• Work requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Incumbent must be able to use a telephone or head set equipment and operate a keyboard and other office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is
required. At times, incumbents are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, incumbent must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 pounds. Incumbent may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
