We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing team on a dynamic program. In this role, the DevOps Engineer will work hands-on with cloud infrastructure, containerized platforms, and automation frameworks to enable scalable, secure, and efficient delivery of mission-critical systems. This position requires expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, automation tools and scripting, with the opportunity to support cutting-edge Big Data platforms. You will help architect, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for both cloud and on-premise systems, while championing reliability, repeatability, and performance./ppResponsibilities:/pulliDesign, implement, and maintain cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure solutions in AWS, with a focus on Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)/liliDeploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes across development and production environments/liliAutomate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible/liliMonitor and support Linux-based systems for availability and performance/liliCollaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and improve release cycles using tools like Git, Flux, and Jenkins/liliContinuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance/liliSupport deployment of portable edge-computing infrastructure to non-cloud (on-premise) environments/liliDiagnose and resolve system issues across the stack, including networking, containers, and cloud services/liliParticipate in Agile development activities and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives/liliStay current with emerging DevOps technologies, container orchestration strategies, and cloud capabilities/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliBachelors degree in Computer Science or related field/liliMid-level candidates: 3-8 years of relevant experience/liliSenior-level candidates: 9-13 years of relevant experience/liliSME-level candidates: 14+ years of relevant experience/liliHands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda/liliProficient in Linux systems administration and troubleshooting/liliProficient in scripting/programming abilities in Python, Bash, or Go/liliKnowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)/liliExperience with Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC or configuration management tools/liliFamiliarity with Git, Flux, and other development and deployment tools/liliDemonstrated ability to work in Agile environments and use tools such as JIRA and Confluence/liliMust be able to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire/liliMust be available to work on-site 4-5 days per week; flexibility is required to align with customer needs/liliUS citizenship and an active Secret clearance; will also accept TS/SCI or TS/SCI with CI Polygraph/li/ulpDesired Experience:/pulliExperience with big data technologies like: Hadoop, Accumulo, Ceph, Spark, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, Presto, etc./liliWork could possibly require some on-call work./li/ul/div
