In this role you will help plan and execute special projects while supporting ongoing cross-functional operations. Whether a bug fix or an awesome feature, you will own your work and deliver the most effective and scalable solutions. You will work closely with our Product Team and other cross-functional development teams to design and implement world class solutions./ppThe ideal candidate for this role is technically savvy, analytical, and process-oriented. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the hospitality industry and have an immediate and meaningful impact./ppstrongWhat youll do/strong/pulliBuild and maintain our APIs and integrations with upstream and downstream consumers in mind/liliCollaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in backend development tools and technologies/liliLead ecosystem-level design reviews, perform architecture reviews, and write technical documentation in collaboration with peers/liliDrive improvements to system reliability, observability, monitoring, and testability/liliWork directly with an Engineering Manager and Product Manager(s) to clearly understand the problem being solved/liliCollaborate with stakeholders from internal operations teams as well as external integration partners/liliEffectively debug high complexity multi-system problems and come up with good-better-best solutions/liliExecute on engineering and release priorities successfully through strong leadership and communication/liliDrive code reviews and collaborate with other team members on coding standards and best practices, third-party integrations, and other backend development processes/liliGuide and mentor less experienced developers on best practices and operational excellence/li/ulpstrongWhat makes you a great fit/strong/pulli5+ years of backend development experience building applications in Go, NodeJS, and integrations with 3rd Party tools, APIs, and other services/liliExperience with designing and documenting architecture decisions/liliExperience with AWS services such as Kubernetes, Lambdas, Eventbridge, RDS, DynamoDB/liliExperience with IaC e.g. Terraform, and have collaborated with DevOps to maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines/liliSolid software engineering fundamentals and committed to mentoring less experienced engineers/liliIndependent and proactive at finding and fixing issues/liliExcellent giver and receiver of constructive code review feedback/liliExperience with Agile development process/liliYou have a knack for finding solutions to problems - and using a full arsenal of debugging tools/liliYou have built your own custom tools to help you automate tasks/liliExperience with Git version control and repository management in Gitlab/li/ulpstrongLocation/strong/ppEvolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, in our beautiful downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both!/ppstrongCompensation/strong/ppFor this role our salary range is $141,000 to $184,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance./ppAll Evolve team members must live in one of our approved locations by their first day. We can hire from anywhere in the U.S. except D.C. and Hawaii. Some positions may also have restrictions based on compensation in the following states: California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Washington.
