Overview
Skin Analytics is an award-winning health tech company that works with dermatology teams to deploy AI-powered skin cancer pathways using AI as a medical device. Following recent funding and regulatory milestones, we are scaling internationally. DERM is deployed at more than 25 NHS organisations and we collaborate with health insurers to reach patients in their homes. We are a team dedicated to building a future where no one dies from skin cancer. London based - Hybrid (3 days a week in the office). Role
As the Head of UX Design & Research you will be responsible for building and establishing the UX function within Skin Analytics to deliver strong UX capabilities across all business units. You will lead on how to set up a successful team and systems with one direct report to achieve business objectives across new and growth areas. Responsibilities
Leading and scaling the UX function — setting up design systems, accessibility standards, etc., from scratch Setting user research direction — ensuring research findings drive business and product strategy Working with the Senior Management Team — making cases for more design resources and continuously measuring, tracking and sharing value People management and leadership — managing and developing UX Designers and setting a high standard for UX work Cross-functional collaboration — working with internal teams and stakeholders across all business units Measuring performance — establishing structure and metrics from scratch Requirements
Previously or currently in a Head of/Lead role in a fast-growing business Experience leading teams of designers and user researchers Experience setting up accessibility standards from scratch Information architecture, content design and personas Experience with service design Good taste in product design Experience with localisation projects Experience across web and app, B2B and B2C Healthcare experience is a plus but not required UX and UI experience preferable Content/copywriting experience advantageous Please attach a link or upload your portfolio with your application Compliance and Quality
Skin Analytics manufactures medical devices and complies with ISO 13485 and 27001. Employees will be assigned to Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) programs and are required to complete their training and follow all quality and information security processes.
