divh2Cloud Virtualization Network Engineer/h2pCACIs Enterprise IT Sector is seeking a skilled Cloud Virtualization Engineer to oversee and drive the development and implementation of cloud and virtualization infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and network engineering, with a proven track record of leading technical teams. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions aligned to site survey, design and implementation activities. Youll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations. Then we want to talk with you!/ppResponsibilities:/pulliDesign and architect cloud and virtualization solutions to meet requirements and technical specifications./liliDevelop comprehensive architecture documentation, including diagrams, workflows, and technical specifications./liliDeploy and configure virtual machines, storage, and network components in a cloud environment./liliManage cloud resources, including compute, storage, and networking, to ensure optimal performance and availability./liliImplement automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations and reduce manual intervention./liliCollaborate with network engineers to integrate virtualization solutions with existing network infrastructure./liliEnsure seamless communication between virtual and physical network components./liliImplement security best practices for virtualization and cloud environments./liliAnalyze virtualization and cloud environments for performance issues and bottlenecks./liliOptimize resource utilization and implement scaling strategies to meet changing demands./liliMaintain accurate documentation of virtualization configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps./liliPrepare reports on system performance, issues, and recommendations for improvement./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliUS citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance/liliDegree: Technical BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree./liliExperience: 5 years in virtualization technologies and cloud computing./liliProven experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization platforms./liliExperience in architecting and implementing large-scale cloud and virtualization solutions/liliHands-on experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable./liliRelevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent are preferred./liliStrong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching./liliExperience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation./liliFamiliarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus./liliExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills./liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills./liliProficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio); experience working with DoD or US Army programs/li/ulpDesired:/pulliActive Secret security clearance/liliExperience in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment./liliKnowledge of DevOps practices and tools./liliExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation./li/ulpThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. So is ours./ppPay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
