Codescratch is currently seeking a self-motivated and talented professional who is seeking a challenging opportunity as a DevOps Engineer. This role will lead the DevOps effort across a team of software engineers, and cyber security SMEs to design, implement, support, and maintain solutions./ppThe successful candidate will contribute to deploying and maintaining infrastructure supporting the development and integration of a distributed endpoint collection tool enabling critical situational awareness./ppWhat You Will Do:/pulliFacilitating the development and deployment of infrastructure within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment./liliThe DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services./liliThe DevOps Engineer will play a key role in monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing proactive measures to prevent service disruptions./liliAdministering and upholding cloud infrastructure on AWS./liliBuilding and maintaining Infrastructure as Code to deploy services in AWS VPC cloud environment to include kubernetes using Terraform, and Ansible./liliAutomating deployment procedures to ensure the robustness and scalability of services./liliDesign, develop, document, test, and deploy software in Python, JavaScript, Java and SQL./liliDeploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, maintain, update/upgrade PostgreSQL databases./liliTroubleshoot and resolve installation, infrastructure and system issues./liliProactively and independently identify, report, monitor, and mitigate technical risks./li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pulliFive (5)+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development/liliBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required./liliOne year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education./liliRelevant certifications may be substituted for education or years of experience./liliKnowledge of AWS services, application to deployment and management of infrastructure/liliMust have, or obtain Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification within 30 days of start date/liliExperience with CI/CD pipelines in a containerized (Kubernetes) environment/liliExperience enforcing project DevOps processes to ensure consistency of deployments/liliFull software lifecycle automation experience (design, development, test, deployment), including deployment to a production environment./liliStrategic mindset who can further develop and refine our advanced DevOps architecture and processes./liliStrong communication skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team, including the ability to clearly articulate status and present to both customers and program leadership./li/ulpPreferred qualifications/skills:/pulliExperience with RMF (Risk Management framework) is a plus/liliExperience with sustainment and management of program/liliCompTIA Security+ certification/liliExperience with Cyber and/or Security Engineering a plus/li/ulpTools/Systems: Cloud Native, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Helm, Terraform, 0, Ansible, Vault, Postgres, Golang, Python/ppClearance: U.S. citizenship required Active Secret clearance required/ppSalary Range: Pay Range $150,000 - $230,000 (Plus benefits). The pay range for this job level is a general estimated guideline only, and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
