The Senior DevOps Engineer is instrumental in enhancing development and operational workflows, ensuring seamless integration across technology platforms. In this role, you will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and automate processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and security. You will engage in crucial initiatives such as cloud migration and modernizing legacy systems, collaborating within cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This position demands a proactive approach to compliance with regulatory standards and includes exercising independent judgment in technical decision-making and strategic planning. You will leverage your advanced technical expertise to manage complex systems, develop automation tools, and lead modernization efforts in alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes, applying your technical skills to optimize deployment lifecycles. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure to ensure scalability, performance, and security. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform and Ansible, showcasing your knowledge in automation and infrastructure management. Monitor production systems and deployment pipelines for high availability and quick issue resolution. Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to integrate DevOps best practices across the SDLC. Automate repetitive tasks to boost team productivity and minimize operational overhead. Develop and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve system issues. Ensure all systems comply with SDLC, regulatory, and security standards. Lead efforts to modernize legacy systems, following cloud-first strategies and enterprise goals. Mentor junior DevOps engineers by conducting code reviews and sharing best practices. Document technical workflows, standards, and processes to promote knowledge sharing. Collaborate on strategic initiatives, contributing technical insights to business projects. Participate in disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity. Research and evaluate new DevOps tools to enhance processes and infrastructure. Qualifications: 5-7 years of industry experience with at least 7 years in software development on Java or .NET platforms, and 5 years with IaC (e.g., Terraform). 2-4 years using Azure, Azure CLI, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Extensive experience managing cloud infrastructure, particularly in Azure (AWS or GCP experience is a plus). Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation. Expertise in system monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana for performance optimization. Thorough understanding of Secure SDLC principles and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC, PCI DSS). Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Clear communication skills for documenting workflows and processes. Experience mentoring team members and promoting a culture of collaboration. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and eagerness to learn new technologies. Capability to align DevOps solutions with organizational goals. Familiarity with financial industry standards and compliance is highly preferred. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields. An equivalent mix of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
