Job Description GPU Solutions Architect Key Responsibilities: As a hands-on technical architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing extensive GPU/HPC clusters. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues for proof of concept and production deployments, as well as implementing solutions through code development and scripting. Your responsibilities will include building automated cluster deployment tools utilizing Terraform and Ansible. You will collaborate with some of Oracle's largest clients to drive business growth in both pre-sales and technical consulting capacities. Your role will require you to define customized HPC/GPU solutions based on specific business needs. As a trusted advocate, you will guide customers and partners in understanding best practices around advanced GPU solutions and the migration of their workloads to the cloud. You will educate diverse customers on Oracle’s value proposition and engage in deep architectural discussions to guarantee that solutions are designed for successful cloud deployment. Acting as a technical liaison, you will connect customers, core engineering teams, and support staff. Ideal Qualifications: Strong understanding of IaaS, HPC, GPU technologies, Linux OS, and the networking and security requirements for executing GPU/HPC applications in the cloud.
Proficiency in designing both on-premises and cloud-based HPC/GPU deployments, as well as cloud-native HPC/GPU solutions.
Scripting skills in languages such as Python, shell/bash, etc.
Experience in deployment automation using Terraform and Ansible.
Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, RDMA, InfiniBand, cluster networking, and running MPI jobs.
Understanding of distributed/parallel file systems and storage appliances.
Familiarity with GPUs and GPU applications.
Experience with HPC cluster deployment and scheduling tools such as Slurm or PBS.
Competence in Kubernetes and Docker.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Business Experience:
A solid understanding of challenges faced when working with large customers, alongside a minimum of 5 years in pre-sales or technical consulting roles. Leadership Qualities:
