As part of our dynamic team, you'll work with cutting-edge network technologies and collaborate with brilliant engineers to address complex problems in the networking industry. Responsibilities: Deploy, configure, and manage the network infrastructure at our data center facility.
Collaborate with partner teams and vendors to ensure the reliability and smooth operation of regional networks.
Plan and execute maintenance tasks, including upgrades and decommissioning of production networks.
Create deployment packages and keep precise documentation of network assets and configurations.
Implement global best practices and contribute to designing scalable network solutions.
Support the development, testing, and integration of new hardware and software into our network.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for regional network infrastructure.
Expect travel requirements of 10%, which may increase up to 30% depending on project needs.
Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and operating large-scale networks.
Strong skills in configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP).
Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and experience with IPv4 and IPv6.
Hands-on experience with networking hardware in a multi-vendor environment.
Understanding of physical infrastructure design, including structured cabling and fiber optics.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
Experience working in a global team environment and tackling challenges independently.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in technical leadership and people management.
Knowledge of data center power/cooling infrastructure and operational best practices.
Field experience in Data Centers, Colocation Facilities, Internet Exchanges, or similar environments.
Familiarity with Linux-based systems and experience in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Perl).
Knowledge of high-capacity Ethernet (40/100G) and optical transport technologies (CWDM, DWDM).
Public Compensation: Hourly rate: $51.44 to $159,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Industry:
