We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Desktop Engineer to join our hospital IT team. In this role, you won’t just sit behind a screen — you’ll be out on the floor, solving problems in real time for doctors, nurses, and staff who rely on technology to care for patients. Swing Shift starting at 3pm
What You’ll Do
Become the go-to IT expert for desktop, laptop, and endpoint support across the hospital.
Image, configure, and deploy devices that keep clinical teams connected.
Troubleshoot urgent issues with speed and professionalism — sometimes at a patient’s bedside.
Work side-by-side with clinicians and hospital staff, earning their trust as a reliable IT partner.
Automate tasks with scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch) to make support faster and smarter.
Support EMR systems and clinical workflows that drive the day-to-day of patient care.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Prior related experience in desktop engineering or field support, ideally in a hospital or clinical setting.
Advanced knowledge of Windows environments, imaging, device drivers, and endpoint security.
Strong communicator who can explain tech clearly to non-technical staff.
Comfortable working independently, moving through hospital facilities, and even lifting/moving equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, Zendesk, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite.
Bonus points if you bring skills with CrowdStrike, Rapid7, N-Able, EMR support, HIPAA compliance, or certifications like A+ or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator.
