Below is a snapshot of what you’d be responsible for:Leading a diverse team of .NET engineers, business analysts, and testers to design, develop, and support company-wide IT solutions built on the Microsoft Full Stack.Overseeing the development and maintenance of mission-critical .NET-based web applications used by policyholders, agents, and business partners.Collaborating with business partners to analyze complex challenges and deliver IT solutions, including architecture, design, and implementation.Monitoring and improving production jobs, system health, and overall system availability, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency.Driving continuous process improvements through effective communication and solution development with business partners.Defining and executing strategic goals for the organization’s software systems while evaluating and recommending changes to align with evolving business needs.What we are looking for in a new team member:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in software development.5+ years of experience as a .NET software developer, with at least 3 years leading engineering teams.Minimum 5 years in a formal leadership role2+ years of experience in designing and architecting scalable, high-performance software solutions.In-depth knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational management.Proven track record of managing and prioritizing the delivery of programs and products in an agile environment.Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on mentoring and motivating team members to reach their full potential.Comprehensive BenefitsPay Range: $93,608-$181,709Flexible hybrid work schedule (2 days per week in Seattle office required)Medical, Dental, and Vision plans401(k) plan with up to 5% matchEmployer sponsored LTD, life insurance, and AD&DDiscretionary profit sharing and bonusesFully subsidized ORCA card and/or free parking for Seattle employeesEducation ReimbursementOn-Site Fitness CenterOpportunities for career growth and advancement within the organization.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.How To ApplyIf you are passionate about helping people, have strong experience in leading a highly experience web and software team and are ready to join a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.Grange Insurance Association is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all qualified candidates to apply.Grange Insurance Association is committed to ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
