divh2Azure System Administrator/h2pSpace Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking an experienced Azure System Administrator to implement, secure, and maintain our cloud and hybrid infrastructure. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on day-to-day administration, reliability, and lifecycle management of production environment. This is an on-site, non-remote position in our North Logan, UT location./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliCollaborates with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, support project implementations, and assist with improving system architecture/liliManages and administers Azure resources including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), VMs, storage accounts, virtual networks, Azure Firewall, and related services/liliMonitors cloud and hybrid systems for availability, performance, cost efficiency, and security/liliImplements and enforces cloud governance, RBAC, conditional access, policies, and compliance standards/liliHardens and maintains Azure and Windows systems through patching, configuration baselines, identity controls, and security best practices/liliSupports hybrid operations including AD/Azure AD Connect, Windows Server, and identity synchronization/liliAutomates tasks and deployments using PowerShell or Azure automation tools/liliParticipates in cloud architecture discussions and assists in designing scalable, secure Azure environments focused on cloud native solutions/liliPerforms maintenance with minimal downtime and provides after-hours support when required/liliCoordinates with cross-functional teams to drive projects, maintain system reliability, and provide support/liliClearly and timely participates in change management processes, documents system configurations, incidents, and resolutions/li/ulh3Required Qualifications:/h3ulli10+ years of experience and a bachelors degree in a related technical field (e.g., IT, computer science, information systems, engineering) or 15+ years of experience in lieu of a degree/liliHands-on experience administering Azure environments (Azure AD, VMs, networking, storage, policies, RBAC)/liliStrong Windows administration skills, including Server 20162025, group policy, security hardening, and patching/liliExperience with scripting/automation using PowerShell/liliExperience maintaining hybrid identity (AD, AADC, conditional access, authentication flows)/liliSolid understanding of cloud security controls, monitoring, and compliance/liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills/liliMust be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance/liliMust be willing to travel if needed/liliCompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) required or obtained within 30 days/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications:/h3ulliAdvanced Azure administration experience/liliFamiliarity with Azure networking (vNets, NSGs, VPN/ExpressRoute, private endpoints)/liliExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform)/liliExperience using cloud monitoring and security tools (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Log Analytics, policy compliance)/liliKnowledge of DoD security requirements, STIGs, and tools such as Nessus or SCAP/liliVMware or other virtualization experience in hybrid environments/liliMicrosoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-800/801, etc.)/li/ulh3Salary Range/h3ulli$107,000 - $144,000/liliSalary commensurate based on education and relevant experience/li/ulpThis range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role, level, location, market conditions, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
