Primary Skills: JavaScript-Expert, Web Development-Advance, SQL-Expert, NoSql -Beginner, Git-Intermediate Contract Type: W2 Duration: 3 Months Location: Santa Clara, CA Pay Range: $70 - $75 per hour This role may require travel to business meetings and events and requires reliable transportation to do so. If a hire chooses to drive with customers as their passengers or for other business reasons, hires must be in possession and maintain a valid driver’s license. Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team in Santa Clara, California, as a Full-Stack Developer to participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from design to release, for both internal tools and customer-facing products. This role involves developing scalable web applications, backend services, and restful APIs with a focus on reusability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the development lifecycle activities including design, coding, testing, and release. Develop full-featured web applications and scale back-end services. Create web services, restful APIs, and microservices focusing on reusability, performance, and security. Collaborate closely with team members and project managers to gather requirements, design, implement, and release features. Build and maintain code and libraries that are efficient, reusable, and reliable.
Must-Have Skills:
Experience in full-stack web development with a solid understanding of frontend and backend technologies. Proficient in Python, PHP, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks such as Django or Laravel. Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL; familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., ElasticSearch, MongoDB) is a plus.
Industry Experience:
Candidates with 2+ years of experience in developing scalable and efficient web applications, preferably with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, would be ideal for this role. Experience in working within collaborative environments using Git or equivalent version control tools is essential. Knowledge of containerization with Docker is an added advantage.
