We are looking for a seasoned Android Mobile App developer with solid development experience to work on a breakthrough project. Our team is located across the globe, and we need someone in the EST time zone, as we will need to ship equipment to test, modify the code and recommend changes. This is an excellent opportunity to develop, test, and lock down the code before the product is designed in full scale./ph3Job Description/h3pRole Summary:/ppWe want the Mobile Development Technical Lead to begin by engaging directly in one of our high-priority digital companion projects GroAssist. We anticipate the resource gaining knowledge in our technology, platforms, processes, and people through this project. Over time we will expand the scope of the role to span multiple projects. The resource will act as a technical adviser at crucial design milestones for projects, provide oversight/direction to development teams (e.g., ensuring development standards are being followed), help evaluate technical resources being screened for projects, support new project cost estimation, etc./ppKey Responsibilities: GroAssist Mobile App Development:/pulliBecome part of the Agile project team and participate in scrum calls./liliAlong with the rest of the development team, take on the development of user stories./liliTake ownership of the code quality and structure of the hybrid mobile app and the native code portions of the app (Swift, Kotlin, Java)./liliLead, direct, and guide the development team to create a well-engineered app./liliReview the current implementation of feature configurability and lead the development of a best practices approach./liliEnsure the development team follows best practices in Agile development (Jira, estimation, testing, code reviews, user story development, merge requests, dev-ops, etc.)/liliContribute to Jira user story reviews and to test plan reviews./liliTroubleshooting defects and assisting the development team in troubleshooting./liliWork and collaborate with the enterprise architect to ensure the best overall design./li/ulpGroAssist Bluetooth Device Integration:/pulliWork with the business requirements team and the Digital device team to document the Digital devices data and data flow specifications. Ensure that the specification supports the anticipated user stories./liliLead and participate in developing Bluetooth device integration for both iOS and Android./liliApply best practices in reviewing, reusing, improving, and extending existing Digital software modules./li/ulpTechnical Lead for Patient Solutions:/pulliAfter gaining hands-on experience via the GroAssist project, the resource will act as Technical Lead for other (and multiple) Patient Solution mobile app development projects./liliMaintain awareness of mobile app development ecosystem, existing SDKs, back-end systems and associated best practices./liliEnsure delivery teams are developing to correct platform specifications, are following required unit test rigor, are leveraging available re-usable components, etc./liliContribute to project planning: estimating resources and cost, screening proposed development teams, performing solutions architecture, etc./li/ulh3Qualifications and Education Requirements/h3pBasic and Preferred Qualifications/Skills:/pulli5+ years of work experience as a Mobile (iOS and Android) or Web Developer/lili2+ years of experience in Ionic/Capacitor hybrid app development/liliStrong attention to detail, including writing clean code, and following coding standards/liliExperience writing Mobile Applications that interact with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) peripheral devices using Gatt Protocol/liliExcellent experience with the Agile Methodology, documenting requirements, and assisting junior-level developers/liliStrong Experience with OOP (object-oriented programming)/liliExtensive knowledge of at least one Web Development Framework (Angular Preferred)/liliExperience working with JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JSON/liliExperience working with APIs (RESTful preferred)/liliExperience working with version control tools (Git Preferred)/liliBasic experience working with native mobile app languages (Swift, Kotlin, etc.)/li/ulh3Additional Information/h3pAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines./p/div
