Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will float between maintenance duties and hands-on factory work as needed, supporting daily production operations while ensuring equipment reliability and safety.
The ideal candidate is self-directed, dependable, and brings a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to quickly identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform effective repairs in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electric motors, chain drives, bearings, and conveyor systems
- Support factory operations by assisting with general production and equipment-related tasks as needed
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical documentation, and work orders
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent unplanned downtime
- Respond to maintenance requests from production staff in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with supervisors and team members
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
- Electrical knowledge, including wiring, circuits, and basic logic controllers
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and diagrams
- Experience using an ohmmeter to test and verify electrical circuits
- Strong customer-service mindset when supporting internal production teams
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Welding and fabrication experience for in-house part repair or modification
- Experience overseeing or coordinating outside contractors during maintenance activities

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
