The IT Technician supports the region in installing and maintaining PCs, hardware and software in the Regional Office and different centers in the areas, under the direction and guidance of the IT Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, support, and maintain PC hardware including: desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and audiovisual equipment.
- Install, support and maintain PC applications in a Windows 10/11 Hybrid AzureAD/Entra environment. Software includes Office 365, Adobe Applications, TeamViewer.
- Install, support, and maintain iOS devices (iPhone 8/13/14/15, iPad 6 Gen and up). Management of iOS devices through JAMF MDM solution.
- Troubleshooting of small-scale network environments, resolving issues with routers, switches, modems, MFP copiers, etc.
- Maintain proper documentation, as required by the leadership of Corporate IT, to properly track the status of all service calls, to assist the helpdesk in providing prompt response to users, and report on the progress of duties related to project participation.
- Provide IT support to users within the office and at off-site locations remotely and in person.
- Interact with users and staff at the technical level, as required.
- Carry out special tasks at Management's direction.
- Support of helpdesk for appropriate level requests.
- Assist in planning IT budget needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years' experience as a help desk or desktop support technician
Preferred Qualifications:
- AA degree in IT or related field
- IT Certification
Key Competencies:
- Extensive application support experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.
- Knowledge of iOS operation and mobile device management.
- Strong PC and network troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including firewalls, EntraID/Azure.
- Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with data management a plus.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws desired.
Working Conditions:
- Generally pleasant working conditions.
- Less than 50% of daily assignments involve prolonged physical effort.
- Little or no potential for job-related accidents and/or occupational risk.
- Travel: Up to 50%.
Shift Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
Compensation: $ $32.11 hourly
