The Opportunity

Micron is accelerating its cloud memory strategy and shaping the future of how data moves, scales, and creates intelligence. We are looking for a Business Development Leader to lead the global team responsible for defining and executing the business strategy for Micron's memory solutions with our largest hyperscale customers.

This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility role with direct influence on Micron's transformation and the broader cloud ecosystem.

What You Will Lead Strategic Leadership
  • Set the long‑term vision for Micron's cloud memory business, aligning teams across engineering, product, operations, and sales.
  • Build and drive 3–5 year strategic business plans focused on revenue growth, market expansion, and margin optimization.
Customer & Market Leadership
  • Build deep executive‑level relationships with hyperscale customers, becoming a trusted strategic advisor.
  • Ensure customer insights directly shape Micron's product roadmaps and technical investments.
  • Represent Micron in industry forums and co‑marketing initiatives to establish thought leadership in cloud memory.
Operational Excellence
  • Lead quarterly business and technical reviews to ensure alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee demand forecasting and TAM analysis, closely partnering with operations to align supply with strategic priorities.
  • Drive world‑class execution across global cross‑functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experience.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, inspire, and grow a diverse global business development organization.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability that accelerates results and customer success.
Key Competencies
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of memory, cloud, and data center markets; proven ability to shape business outcomes.
  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to define vision, influence direction, and deliver at-scale transformation.
  • Technical Credibility: Strong foundation in DRAM and emerging memory; able to engage deeply with technical teams.
  • Global Team Leadership: Demonstrated success building and leading high‑performing global teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data center, cloud, or infrastructure technology roles with customer engagement.
  • 10+ years leading and developing high-performing teams.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$202, $389,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
