As a Casual Snow Equipment Operator, you will provide equipment operation with a primary focus on snow & ice management.

Position Summary

The Equipment Operator is responsible the operation of specialized equipment to support snow operations. This role is casual/on-call and ideal for individuals with availability who can assist during all plowable winter storm events.

Winter 2025/2026 (Primary Focus): Wheel Loader operation for plowable events at a commercial site (parking lot). This will require the operation of a 10' Kage articulating snow plow. Attendance is required for all plowable storms unless prior notification/arrangements have been discussed with the Operations Manager. You will be expected to drive a personal vehicle to the site where the Wheel Loader is parked for the season. Fueling and maintenance will be handled by the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Operate equipment for snow & ice management and winter operations.

Perform snow plowing and related winter response duties during storms or as scheduled.
Follow instruction provided by management to complete basic daily equipment inspections prior to operation.
Follow all company safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and operational procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding worksite conditions, equipment needs, and safety concerns.
- Represent LandServ, Inc. professionally and courteously when interacting with clients, the public, and coworkers.

Qualifications

Prior experience operating trucks, equipment, and machinery (snow equipment strongly preferred).

Ability to work safely, independently, and efficiently in varying weather conditions.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks when needed.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and responsive during winter weather events.

Work Schedule

• Casual / As-Needed: Hours vary based on weather and company needs.
• Winter Season: Primary need during snow & ice events; shifts may include early mornings, nights, or weekends. Attendance for plowable events is required.

Compensation & Employment Status

• Hourly Rate: $ $30.00/hour, depending on experience and availability.
• Employment Type: Casual/on-call; not eligible for company benefits.
• Equipment, PPE, and training provided by LandServ as required for assigned work.
